THE BIODIVERSITY COLLAGE
Why the Biodiversity Collage?
To help people understand the issues and pressures surrounding biodiversity, based on the IPBES report, through a fun, collaborative, visual workshop that is accessible to all.
Part 1
Initiation with 3 ecosystems:
Recreate an ecosystem and discover the impact of a disturbance on it.
Duration: 20 minutes.
Part 2
Divided into 5 batches, the participants, divided into teams of 5 to 7 people, have to find the links between the 39 cards to understand what Biodiversity is, what it contributes and what degrades it.
Duration: 1 hour
Materials required: minimum 2 tables per group
WEEDING OUT ASIAN KNOTWEED
to preserve Lake Geneva and its biodiversity.
Hand-pulling of Asian knotweed and invasive alien plants.
Objectives:
Pull up invasive plants
Eliminate the plants
Contribute to an action for biodiversity
Duration: 3 hours
Includes:
organisation (authorisation, map, etc.)
briefing
on-site supervision
removal of plants
equipment (bags, gloves, secateurs, etc.)
